Anthony VanBeukering, 94, formerly of Battle Creek, MI passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 at Pine Ridge Nursing Home in Stevensville, MI. Tony worked as a carpenter for many years. On September 10, 1980 he wed Fern Collar in Battle Creek. Tony was a member of the Battle Creek Tabernacle for many years. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Fern; son James (Vicki) VanBeukering; step-chidren Bruce Papendick, Julie (Sam) Swett, Judy (Mark) Johnston, Debby (Roger) Yiirs, Lori (Ron) Newcomb and Becki Babcock; four grandchildren; several step grandchildren; and numerous great- grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. Tony was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Jean Smith in 1979; daughter Jean Ann Klinger; son Ronald VanBeukering during the Vietnam War; and 3 sisters.

Anthony VanBeukering James Goodman, age 62 of Jefferson City, TN passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Knoxville. Preceded in death by parents, James and Dona Goodman; sisters and brothers, Eugene Halbert, Ethel Halbert Stephens, Mary Lou Halbert Sampson, Marie Goodman Reber and Virgil Halbert. He was an avid fisherman, Civil War Enthusiast, NASCAR and Michigan football fan. Survived by children; Nicole (Robert) Halsey and Daniel Goodman; grandchildren, Tyler VanHouten, Cassie VanHouten, Andrew Goodman and Brandon Goodman; he was married to Darla Fuller Waters for 38 years; sisters, Ruby Eddings Salyers, Opal Goodman Hurley and Alice Goodman Libbrecht; several nieces and nephews.
