Miss Ella Maddock, a returned missionary from Inda, with her sister Miss Mary Maddock, of Elyria, who have been visiting their aunt, Mrs. Maddock, and cousin, Mrs. Vlrna Fowl, returned homo last Saturday. Quite a number of the friends and neighbors of Mr. Wood turned out Monday morning and cut a ten acre lot of corn for him, also a lot of corn fodder.

Mr. Wood, wife and three children have been ill several weeks with typhoid fever. Wesley, the youngest, succumbed to the fatal disease last Wednesday, and on Friday was placed in the vault at Elyria to await burial, when the family had recovered. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to them in their great affliction. Mr.
