York. Dodge May Go to New GALVKSTON, Texas, Dec. writ of habeas corpus recently issued interfering with the carrying out of the court's decision that Chas. F. Dodge be taken back to New York in connection with the famous Mprse-Dodge-Morse marriage suit is returnable today, and it is probable that after all he may be returned to New York.

Dodge has made a desperate fight against leaving Texas, and he has friends who have fought to have him retained here as hard as he has fought to stay. His health is very poor and fo'r sometime he has been confined to bed. At one time it was reported that Dodge said that before he would be taken back to New York to testify concerning his marriage with Mrs. Morse, he would commit suicide. Good News For Thousands.

Demurrer in Wilcoxon Case. A demurrer has been filed by T. D. Wilcoxon on the petition to file a supplementary bill iii the case of M. H.

DIED AT HOSPITAL. Daughter of Postmaster Parkinson, of Stockton, Passes Away. Miss Cecelia Parkinson, daughter of Postmaster I. W. Parkiniron, of Stockton, died at St.
