The Southwest Lions this week contributed $40 to the Lions Eye Foundation for Children Inc. The organization maintains a hospital in San Francisco where any needy child requiring eye surgery may obtain it without cost. Lions clubs contributing to the foundation are eligible to sponsor a child for this program and are required only to pay the child's transportation expenses.
