(Staff Photo by Graham) Capital City Two Carriers Attend Newspaper Day Frank Parnell and Jerry Griffin, accompanied by Assistant Circulation Manager Clyde Moose, will represent The Daily Independent at the seventh annual "North Carolina Newspaperboy Day" activities to be held in Raleigh today. iVTewspaperboys from throughout the state and their chaperons will meet the governor, other 'stale officials, attend a luncheon given in their honor and tour the capital city during the day, Headlining the activities will be a visit to the office of Governor Luther B. Hodges. The governor will personally welcome each- of the carriers to the capital city. The program for the day includes a tour of the capital, state building, state museum and the Hall of History.

After the various tours, the newspaperboys will go to the Sir Walter Raleigh Hotel for a luncheon and hear short talks from many of the state officials. A tour of. the stale prison and State College is scheduled during the afternoon.
