Mr. and Mrs. A. F. McMurray, who have been here the past month with Mr.

McMurray's sister, Elizabeth Large, on Madison Avenue, left last Sunday for Cincinnati, Ohio, called unexpectedly. James L. Eychaner, who has been at Paradise Valley Sanitarium for two weeks, was brought to his home here at 333 Street last Sunday and is improving rapidly now. Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Thompson had as their guests last week-end Mr.

and Mrs. J. C. Hrust and children Betty June and Verlin of Midway City. They returned home on Monday.

George Baeder, sort of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Baeder of Second Avenue, who has been very sick at the Paradise Valley Sanitarium in National City, was brought home last Wednesday and is getting along very nicely.

Robert V. Stanier of National Avenue, Chula Vista and Richard O'Connell of Palm City, left Tuesday for a motor trip to Vancouver, B. C. and other points of interest. Robert is an employee of the Union Ice Company on the Chula Vista delivery and has not had a vacation for three years.

Fifteen ladies of the Baptist Church gave a double stork shower party last Wednesday afternoon, October 15 at the home of Mrs. Robert Dyson at 518 Flower Street for Mrs. Edwin Peterson of 517 Street and Mrs. Bowman of Bay Boulevard. BODY EXPERT RETURNS M.
