The rumored movement to change the county seat of DeKalb county fron Auburn to this place and to erect the proposed new court house, which though prevalent for several weeks, had not been looked upon seriously, took definite form this afternoon when a meeting of citizens of Waterloo and Grant township was held at the local town hall and was pledged toward the new administration building should it come here. The entire county this evening is agog over the sudden turn in affairs and Auburn citizens and business men, -iwake at last to the possibiliy of losing the seat of county government, are already at work to forestall the action.

The Waterloo Press in it? last issue began a campaign to bring the court house here. In this publication the sensational charge was made that the hoard of commissioners had been guilty of graft in letting the contract for plans for the new court house to Vlahurin Mahurin, architects of Fort Wayne.
