According to the NWS forecast, today will be hot and humid with high temperatures in the mid-90s and a 30 percent chance of showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon.

High temperatures should be in the upper 80s Wednesday and Thursday before climbing back to the mid-90s Friday, the weather service said. The heat index, also known as apparent temperature, measures what the temperature when temperature and humidity levels are combined. A temperature of 95 degrees, combined with a humidity reading of 50 percent, will produce a heat index of 105 degrees. Or, a temperature of 90 degrees with 67 percent humidity will equal a 105-degree heat index. these two factors combine to create a heat index of 105 degrees, individuals must be especially cautious and take precautions to reduce the risk of heat stroke and heat said Dr.

There are some people who think she may have been born in Harrisville, around 10 miles west of Bucktown near Madison. Pinning down actual places associated with life is one of the goals of the Harriet Tubman Organization History Discussion Group.

It is also becoming more important to the future of any effort to memorialize the Moses of her people in the county of her birth. The group has been meeting for several months at the HTO museum on Race Street in Cambridge. The most recent discussion, Saturday, July 27, focused on 18 historic sites associated with Harriet Tubman. John Creighton, who offered this collection of research, began the discussion by explaining that these places probably, were associated with life. Creighton also spoke about the National Park recent meeting about legacy in Dorchester.

According to Caroline County District Court documents, Alvin Franklin Rehn III, 49, of Preston, was released after posting $100,000 bond on July 28. This was one day after being arrested on 14 sexually-based crimes, including multiple counts of third- and fourth-degree sex offenses and possession of child pornogra- phy. State police arrested Rehn without incident after allegations of having improper relations with a teen-aged girl surfaced late last week. Charging documents said that the mother went to the FBI office in Dover, on July 26 to make a complaint against Rehn.

The FBI then contacted Maryland State Police who immediately started an investigation into the matter. After interviews with both the girl and her mother, it was discovered that Rehn allegedly had a sexual relationship with the 16-year-old girl beginning last summer and lasting nearly a year, district court records said. The records also said that Rehn allegedly took Polaroid pictures of the girl nude during the period of Trooper accused of molestation posts bond $40,000 in cash, merchandise said to be missing By GREG MAKI Staff Writer EASTON Three people have been charged in connection with the theft of more than $40,000 from Pep-Up Inc.
