Some of the proposed funds will go toward paying an officer who would dedicate time to CSAFE zones in and Grasonville.The officer would create a better bond with CSAFE areas and local law in mutual trust and more participation by communities themselves in keeping communities safe. Other features of the CSAFE proposal include communities meetings and part-time activity instructor and a part-time site coordinator at Matapeake and Bayside Elementary Schools and other groups aimed at community-law enforcement communication.
