Sally Clark explains the name of her current exhibit thusly: of the ordinary, an extraordinary phenomenon this present she said, wanted to explore a new medium for myself. In the past, I have enjoyed water- color painting in the traditional sense.

Also, I have dabbled in acrylics and faux painting in acrylic washes and glazes. for this present show, I wanted to tap into my creative juices and try to stretch my imagination and go in a new direction. I wanted, not only to combine watercolor and acrylics together, but also to build surface texture. individual pieces may not have a common theme, but they are similar in execution. Many times, the texture alone or the combination of colors dictated the composition.
