TIE Jensen also echoed his earlier praise for Ireland, calling their contest the straight-ahead, clean, friendly, issues-driven campaign ever you thought your vote count, that myth was certainly dispelled by this said Ward 1 Councilwoman Maureen Scott- Taylor. In Ward 4, incumbent Moonyene Jackson-Amis put more distance between herself and her challengers. She added 69 votes Tuesday for a total of 252. Joyce DeLaurentis and Jack Mason each received four absentee votes, bringing their totals to 131 and 48, respectively. Council President John Ford, who ran for reelection unopposed, received an additional 37 votes Tuesday for a total of 578.
