Regina Brown CHESTERTOWN Regina Mary Brown of Chestertown died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, in Chester River Hospital Center, Chestertown. She was 88. Mrs. Brown was born on Aug.

14, 1916, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Carrick and Regina Mueller Goss. In 1940, she with her husband moved to Kent County where she raised their family. She provided housekeeping and childcare in the Chestertown area. She had worked for 17 years at Campbell Soup. She enjoyed rug braiding, needlework and watching TV.

She loved all sports, especially watching and attending the Orioles games. She is survived by two daughters, Annie Coleman, and her husband, Dudley, of Chestertown and Barbara Wilson of Chestertown and Sanford, Maine; a son Carl Brown, and his wife, Anna, of Sunderland, three brothers, Francis Goss of Baltimore, David Goss of Chestertown and Robert Goss of Silver Spring; three sisters, Elizabeth Stoops of Chestertown, Helen Brown of Chesapeake City and Marilou Bockstie of West Chester, six grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Carl Leonard Brown, in 1976; a daughter, Regina Brown, in 1961; a brother, Andrew Goss and sister, Esther Goss. Friends may call from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Saturday, Jan. 29, in Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena where Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m.

Jones QUEEN ANNE Henrietta Hicks Jones, 101, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at Open Arms Assisted Living in Sudlersville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover, where friends may call two hours prior.

Burial will be Chesterfield Cemetery, Centreville. Steven D. Mitchell DENTON Steven D. Mitchell of Denton, passed away on Monday, Jan. 24, 2005.

He was 52. Born June 18, 1952, in Easton, he was the son of James W. Sr. and Dorothy M. Asche Mitchell of Cordova.

After graduating from Easton High School in 1971, he worked for Coca-Cola Company in Easton. In 1973, he took a position at Waverly Press, now known as Cadmus, where he worked as head pressman at the time of his death. He also worked as a hunting guide for Samuel Delahay of Trappe. A member of Ducks Unlimited, he was also a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and B.P.O. Easton Elks Lodge In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, particularly bow hunting, fishing, crabbing, and antiquing.

An avid NASCAR fan, he loved all sports, his dogs and gardening. Most of all he loved his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mitchell is survived by his wife, the former Barbara Denise Messick, whom he married June 26, 1976; three brothers, James W. Mitchell Timothy A.

Mitchell and Terry E. Mitchell all of Cordova; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Leroy and Barbara Messick of Easton; numerous nieces and nephews; three great-nephews and two great-nieces. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1 at St.

In 1951, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he served on the U.S.S. Tanner Following his release from active duty in 1954, he returned to Tilghman, where he began a career as a commercial waterman. He was a member of the Tilghman United Methodist Church and the Maryland Watermans Association. Mr.

Sadler is survived by his wife, Donna Ross Sadler of Tilghman, who he married in 1956; two sons, Rick Sadler Jr. of Tilghman and Mark Sadler of Queenstown; two brothers, Gustin Sadler of Easton and Leroy Sadler of Tilghman; six grandchildren, Ricky Sadler, Brian Sadler, Kent Sadler, Rachel Holland, Lauren Dorrell and Alana Sadler; and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Sadler was preceded in death by two sons, Craig Sadler and Steve Sadler. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 29, at the Tilghman United Methodist Church, Tilghman. Friends may call at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be at Tilghman Memorial Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Tilghman United Methodist Church Building Fund, Tilghman, Md.

21671. Arrangements by the Fel- Arthur Wheatman DENTON Arthur M. Wheatman Sr. of Denton died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, in Ruxton Health of Denton.

He was 95. Born near Dover, Del. on Nov. 29, 1909, Mr. Wheatman was the son of the late Edgar Carroll Wheatman and Mary Hester Smith Wheatman.

He lived in Caroline County since the and was a carpenter for Cannon Wright and Doug Bennington in Denton. He also delivered ice. In 1972, he retired. His wife, Ruth Evelyn Morris Wheatman, died on Sept. 5, 1974.

Mr. Wheatman is survived by two sons, Robert Wheatman, and his wife, Lea, and A. Marvin Wheatman and his wife, Jean, all of Denton; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild. He is also survived by his long-time companion, Mary E. Wright of Preston.

He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Sherri Lea Wheatman, who died Sept. 12, 1982; two sisters, Eliza Wheatman Biger and Ethel Thornton; and one brother, Charles Wheatman. She is survived by her daughter, Marissa Rae Lyddane Pfeffer, age five; Her parents, James and Edmonia Michie of Bethesda; three siblings, James M. Michie of Stockholm, Sweden, Carmel Mansour of Chevy Chase, and Stu- art Michie of Bethesda. A memorial service will be held in Cambridge at the Bay Country Bible Church, 717 Locust Street at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2.

25, 2005, at the Memorial Hospital in Easton. He was 78. Born Aug. 5, 1926, in Wittman, he was the son of the late Gee and Lucy Jones Willey. A life-long waterman, he was also a U.S.

Army Veteran of Korea. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Frances of Wittman; four children, Doreen Gaultney of Tilghman, Brenda Shahan of Sherwood, Betty Barrow of Tilghman, and David Willey of Wittman; eight grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; a brother, Nick Willey of Wittman, and three sisters, Joyce, Caroline, and Emily. He was preceded in death by four siblings, Morris, Gussy, Lillian and Virginia. Services will be held at noon Saturday Jan. 29, at the R.
