McGaffick At quiet rites performed at the-f home of the bridegroom's parents Friday evening at 6 o'clock, Lois Carol James and Albert Perry McGaffick were united in mariiage. About 25 relatives and friends attended the ceremony at which the Rev. Emil Ziegler of the First Lutheran church officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Fred Milner and Mr. McGaffick is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry McGaffick, 71G Highland street.

Beautiful floral arrangements in yellow tones, and dainty silver bells were used to decorate the living rooms. For the entrance of the bridal party, Mrs. Darrell Farmer played the traditional wedding inarch. Howard K. Morgan, brother of the bride, gave her hand in marriage.

She wore a street-length gown of black with blue trimming, a small hat with a veil and harmonizing accessories. Her cor sage was of Talisman roses. Miss Kathryn McGaffick, sistei of the bridegroom, the only attendant. Her gown was black with gold nailhead trimming and her coisage was of red roses. Mrs.

Milner, mother of the bride wore a gown of black and gold with a corsage of yellow baby mums, and Mis. McGaffick, mother of the bridegioom, was gowned in forest green velvet with a corsage of white baby mums. ENGAGEMENT IS ANNOUNCED HOUSEHOLD PRODUCTS By P-niald Mason of Toston was the best" man. A buffet style supper was served to the bridal party and ceremony. John's Episcopal church there. HOSPITAL GUILD TO NAME NEW OFFICERS EARLY THIS MONTH Members of the nominating committee of the St. John's Hospital guild will meet Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 3, at the home of Mrs. Edwin Jasmin to nominate new officers and trustees for the guild.

Any member of the organization who desires to make a nomination is requested to.notify the committee members and to present suggestions before the meeting Tuesday. According to the committee, the consent to serve, if elected, must be obtained from the person whose name is submitted as a candidate, and at least two names must be presented for each office. If an insufficient number of names have been presented loathe nominating committee by Tuesday, it will be the duty of the members to secure the necessary candidates. Nominations will be presented and balloted upon at the next regular guild meeting, to be held Dec. 10 at the hospital.

In compliance with the new bylaws of the organization, no person may hold office for more than one year. This year all new officers and tiustees will be elected with the exception of the outgoing president, who will a one-year board member. The elective officers ot the guild are president, first vice president, second vice president, third vice president, lecording secretary, corresponding secietary, treasurer and five trustees, one for a one-yeai term, two for two-year terms and two for three-year terms. Only paid members may vote and hold office. No one may hold office who has been a member for less than one year and no one may be president who has been a member for less than three years.

Mrs. Edwin Jasmin is chairman of the nominating committee and other members are Mrs J. Sado, Mrs. William Moore, Mrs. T.

P. Regan and Mrs. E. B. Benson.

Peter's Hospital association will be held next Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at Perkins House, 510 North Logan sheet. Miss Dorothy Iloman, laboratory technician at the hospital, will be the principal speaker. All members of the association are urged to attend the meeting. Further plans for the annual Charity ball, which will be an event of Jan. IS, 1941, will he discussed.

PARISH PARTY SPONSORED BY TWO GUILDS SET FOR, NEXT SATURDAY EVENING The Junior guild and the St. Catherine's guild of St. Petei's procathedral have announced plans for a "frolic" party to be held next Saturday evening, Dec. 7, at the palish hall. All the young people of the parish are invited to attend the affair.

Dancing will be enjoyed and games will be played. Candy booths and a iorlune telling booth are to be featured at the bazaar, and home made cake, ice cream and coffee wijl be served. E. Riley was elected president of the Past Matrons, Order of the Eastern Star, at Ihe group's regular meeting held last Monday evening at lire home of Mrs. Z. P. Melhorn.

Other officers named were Mrs. May Bartos, first vice president, Mrs. C. J. Dousman, second vice president, and Mrs.

L. H. Jorud, secretary-treasurer. Mrs. Riley succeeds Mrs.

Alta Carsley as president and has served for the past year as fiist vice president. Mrs. Bartos has been second vice president, and the letiiing sec- retary-treasuier is Mrs. Hairy B. Schaefer.

The group will not hold a meeting during the month of December. At the fiist meeting in January, the new officeis will be installed and there will be initiation of two junior past mations, it was announced.
