From the pastel suits of "Miami Vice" to the red leather and zippered jacket of Michael Jackson and the lace and spandex ensembles of Madonna, there was a style for everyone. On Saturday, you can channel that style at the Awesome '80s Party at Duffy's Hangar.

Local band the Eighty Eighty Eights will provide dance and groove tunes. Boasting to be '80s synth-pop in most of its glory," the band is a modern take on the music of the '80s combined with contemporary funk and hard-rock style. The band's Face-book page calls the band's music "a dynamic, fun sound you can still sing along with and dance your best '80s-white-kid dance to." "The Eighty Eighty Eights always bring such fun to any party, and we wanted to kick off the new year with just that: fun!" manager and event organizer Tamberlie Ecklund said. "Duffy's is gearing towards bigger and better things this year, with national acts at least once a month and fun stuff in between." "People can expect a great big, dance-the-night-away fun zone on Saturday," Ecklund said. "Everybody that comes through the door gets giveaways.

We always have prizes for best costumes and biggest hair, and this time, we will have secret judges watching through the night for our newest category 'Best '80s What giveaways? Ecklund said you have to be there to find out. "And I can't forget, Logoless Photo will be there to capture your moments in the photo booth," Ecklund said. Memento photos are $5 each or $25 for 10. "So get out your Aqua Net, dust off your shoulder pads, bust out that huge pink bow and get ready to dance the night away," Ecklund said. "Welcome back to the '80s!" Carlee Wright Small and Melody Guy.

"We are doing a Northwest local heroes show, as we like to call it," Burford said. "It is pretty much Northwest legends." "We have been playing together in different lineups for CASCADED BAKING Co. Jackson Cool Buzz and a Cascade Blues Association Muddy Award Hall of Fame drummer. The Statesman Journal named Burford Musician of The Year three times. He also has received accolades from the Cascade Blues Association.

Portland guitarist Robb has been playing with the greats for years and even has an award named after him by the Cascade Blues Association. Jackson was inducted to the Oregon Music Hall of Fame in 2008. Portland musician Kahl won an award for bass in the 2013 Cascade Blues Association Muddy Awards. "Jake Blair. He is the young, hot-shot guitar player," Small said.

"He is not what you would call a legend yet, but a future legend." "He is fabulous," Burford said. "I used to teach him guitar when he was 15." Rounding out the lineup, Guy is a singer and guitarist who will be marrying her fiance Jake Blair next month. "It is a little bit of a passing of the torch," Burford said, "though none of us are done yet."
