During the three and one-half. years General Brougher interned in Japanese prison camps, Mrs. Brougher resided in Decatur, with her three daughters, where Betty and Frances were students at Agnes Scott College. Miss Brougher was graduated there in 1945, and she was member of the Cotillion Club and the French in "Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities." Miss Brougher held a position as flight stewardess with Eastern Air Lines in Atlanta and she now resides with her parents on post, where she is employed by the War Department Civil Service Civilian Personnel Branch. Mr.

Christenberry's only sister is Miss Helen Christenberry, a member of the recent graduating class at Vassar College. The bridegroomelect was graduated from Carlisle Military Academy in Bamberg, S. C. He also attended the University of South Carolina, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the United States Military Academy. He is member of the Alpha Kappa PI 50- cial fraternity and is now employed in Public Relations Department of the Astor Hotel Corporation in New York City.

Miss Renah Pittman Married To Sanford Allia Taylor, Jr. Mr. and 1 Mrs. J. H.

Witherspoon and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest W. Williams (Pauline Witherspoon) were among the out-of-town guests attending the marriage of Miss Renah Claire Pittman to Sanford Allia Taylor, at the First Baptist Church in Birmingham. Miss Pittman is the daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. William Ivy Pittman and her brother was married recently to the former Ilva Gaie Williams of this city. Before pretty, altar the bride was given in marriage by her father and she wore for the occasion a white point d'esprit dress made romantic neckline outlined with ruffles and the basque waist a was attached to a very full skirt. Other attendants were: Mrs. John C. Pittman, Mrs. William L. Pittman a (Ilva Gale Williams) of Anniston and Auburn, Mrs.

Frank Hatcher and Miss Jacqueline Sudduth. Jean Ruffin served as flower girl. William Amberson acted as best man for the bridegroom. Ushers were: William L. Pittman.

John C. Pittman, Frank P. Hatcher, James Stivender and Boyd Bernard. A reception at the home of Mr. and Mrs.

Pittman on Forrest Drive followed the ceremony. Mrs. Louis Jenkins cut the tiered cake which was decorated with spun candy orchids and rosebuds. Serving were Misses Clara Ebaugh, Elleene Mary Bell Hall, Annie Laure Page, Juanita Page and Jayne Powell. Mrs.
