Tasciotti said that because the tourney is the first of its kind in this area, the response has been excellent.

For this reason, the deadline for entries has been pushed back to Aug. 21 from the original date of Aug. 15. It was brought to the attention of the tournament committee that the starting date for the tourney, which was originally set for Sept 4, would conflict with Labor Day weekend. Thus, the series will now start Sept.
