I9SJ POUGHKEEPSIE SUNDAY NEW YORKER PAGE NINE A Watch Night Services, Dances Stated To Wecome New Year in Beacon Community BEACON Vml rftti nave been scheduled to welcome in the New Year in the Beacon area. Watch night aer vices hare been acheduled at several Beacon church. St. Andrew's church.

St. Mark's church of Chelsea, and St. Luke's church will join for a watch night service which will take place at I 1 :30 p. m. New Year's eve at St.

Luke's church. The Rev. Otis Charles of St Andrews's church will present an address, and Rev. A. O.

Tritsch of St. Luke's will preside at the service of Holy Communion. The snnual New Year's Eve bill of Trinity Council. Knlfhti of Columtus will take place In the newly renovated upstairs hall st the K. of building.

Bill Nepfel and his orchestra will provide music for dancing at the serai formal event. A supper will be served, and the usual New Year's eva favors will be In order. James Letterio is 'chairman, assisted by John Ifackett, William Callahan. Frank Chambers, William Dubetsky. Joseph Stanklewlci and Francis Mar telle.

Beacon Lodge of Elks will sponsor its annual New Year's eve dance at the clubhouse. The Esquires will provide music for dancing from 10.30 p. m. to 3 a. m.

Other arrangements include a buffet supper early in the night and following the conclusion of dancing, a breakfast will be served. John Veling is chairman of arrangements, assisted by Ben DINapolL A New Yesr's eve dance will be sponsored by the St. Rocco so ciety, and will take place at St Roeco's hall. The Rhythm Kings will provide music for dancing from 10 p. m.

to 2 a. m. A dinner will be served, and there will be plenty of New Year's eve hats and noisemakers to add to the merriment The event will be In formal. Dominlck Ferraris is chairman of arrangements with William Roccio as co chairman. Open house has been scheduled by the Southern Dutchess Coun try club on New Year day.

Informal dancing will take place, preceded by r. buffet supper. David Strickland is in charge of arrangements. A private party at the club also will take place on New Year's eve. In addition, numerous private parties are being scheduled to welcome in the new yesr, and many groups plan to take part In parties st the various commercial establishments in the vicinity.

Robert W. Moser, student in Western Theological seminar', Pittsburgh, arrived on Dec. 22 at the home of his parenU, the Rev. and Mrs. Charles M.

Moser, where he will spend two weeks' vsesi tion. On Dec. 20 he will address the Senior Westminster fellowship on the subject "Are the Youth of our Church en Accepting Responsibility?" At a supper meeting in the Assembly room of the First Presbyterian church st 7 o'clock. William Peck celebrated his ninth birthday on Dec. 20 with a party for friends and relatives.

William had two birthday cakes and he received many glfU. Mrs. Hayden wore a two piece rose velvet and gray taffeta ensemble with grey complements. Her corsage was of white roses. A reception took place at the Whltestone hotel following the ceremony after which the couple left on a wedding trip to New York City. Mrs.

Hayden chose a belie dress and coat with black accessories for travelling. Her corsage was a white orchid. The bride attended Beacon schools and Is a member of the First Methodist church. Mr. Hayden was graduated from St Joachim's school and St Patrick's High school In Newburgh.
