Franklin G. Brehmer, "Turkey Hill," Red Hook, announce the engagement of the latter' daughter, Miss Barbara Elizabeth Cum mings, to Myron Sheldon Stacks. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stacks, "Brook Meade," Rhine beck.

Miss Cummings, daughter also of the late Dr. Joseph L. Cummings of Poughkeepsie, is an alumna of St. Margaret's School, Waterbury, and cur rently is a senior of Hood College; Frederick, Md. Sir.

Stacks, a graduate of Rhinebeck Central School, received a bachelor of mechanical engineering degree from Cornell University. A member of Mu Sigma Tau engineering honorary and Zeta Psi social fraternity, he is associated with die and Trucking Saugerties.
