Tirnbull TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE Robert C. Turnbull, of the Town of Poughkeepsie, died' Friday, September 22, 2006 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Robert was a retired Engineer at IBM Poughkeepsie and East Flshkill and also was previoush employed at Alfred University. Robert was a local resident of Ihe Poughkeepsie area since 1966, previously of Pleasantville, New York, Endicott, New York, and Oswego, New York. He was a member of the Rock and Mineral Society where he was known as "Captain Crystal" and he was also a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club. He served in the United States Air Corp, where he obtained the rank of 1st Lieutenant He received the following honors: European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal and the Meritorious Service Unit Plaque.

Born in Corning, New York on June 12, 1922, he was the son of Charles Denton and Gertrude James Turn bull. Robert attended Canisteo High School and Alfred University On August 21, 1948 in Alfred, New York, he married Patricia A. Crofoot She survives in Poughkeepsie. He is also survived by a son, Robert Kerry Turnbull of New Hampshire; a daughter, Cheryl Lynn Estabrook of Guilder land, New York; two granddaughters, Nicole Diane Estabrook, and Sgt Michelle Renee Estabrook; and a sister, Margaret Paisley of East Randolf, New York. A memorial service will be held Sunday.

Rovere, 73, a resident of Hyde Park, died Sunday, Sept 24, 2006 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Pough keensie. Mrs. Rovere was a lifelong resident of Dutchess County. She worked with several area businesses, including Arthur IBM and Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

She was a talented songstress and dancer and an accomplished home maker. Mrs. Rovere served on many volunteer organizations including the' Clinton Hollow Garden Club, Regina Coeli PTA and Community Chest Born at St Francis Hospital on Oct 20, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Loretto and Leonard Tobin. She was a graduate of St Peter's and Mt St Mary Academy in Newburgh. On July 14, 1956, at St Peter's Church in Poughkeepsie, she married Carlo A.

Rovere. Mr, Rovere survives at home. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, CarlaLisa Rovere Kistner and her husband, Bernard; her son, Chrisjopher J. Rovere and his wife, Kayleen; her son, John Rovere and his wife, Meg; two loving granddaughters, Courtney Erin and Ariel Rachel Rovere; her sister, Patricia Tobin Kennedy; and three nephews, James Kennedy, Mario and Michael Rovere. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Mary Tobin; her beloved daughter, Moira Rovere Bayer; and her nephew, Joseph Kennedy.

Auchmoody POUGHKEEPSIE, NY Mary R. Auchmoody, 77, died peacefully, Sunday, September 24, 2006. She was born in Hopewell Junction on April 18, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Dwight S. and Ada A. Lee Rob bins.

Mary was Treasurer for many years for her family business, Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Homes, Inc. of Poughkeepsie, Hopewell Junction and Flshkill. On December 3, 1967, in Red Oaks Mills, she married Robert H. Auchmoody, Sr.

who predeceased her on March 14, 1995. Mary is survived by three sons," Robert H. Auchmoody, Jr. of Oregon, Shawn L. Auchmoody, and his wife, Shannon, of Hopewell Junction and Noel C.

Auchmoody, and his fiance, Yvonne of Aspen, NY, a granddaughter, Sequoia "Suki" Auchmoody and a grandson, Jacob Gulla. She was predeceased by two sisters, Ada L. Hawes and Margaret Robbins and four brothers; Dwight L. Robbins, Lawrence Robbins, David Robbins and Robert R. Robbins.

Lonnie Lomax POUGHKEEPSIE, NY Lonnie Lomax, 52, of Poughkeepsie, died September 17, 2006 at his residence. He was born March 11, 1954 and had worked as a sales clerk for Montgomery Wards in Poughkeepsie. Lonnie is survived by several friends. Theresa "Terry" O'Donnell Thomas, age 85, of Inverness passed away September 18, 2006 in Inverness. Born February 28, 1921 in New York City, New York, she was the daughter of Joseph and Marcella (Lambert) Hendryk.

She retired from Dutchess. Community College in Poughkeepsie, NY, where she received her college degree, was Administrative Assistant to the Executive Dean for many years and taught typing in Poughkeepsie, NY. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother, and President of the Dutchess County Educational Secretaries Association. She moved to Beverly Hills from Hopewell Junction, NY in 1986 where she was elected and served more than two years as a Board Member of the Recre ation Association. She sang in the Beverly Hills Chorus for many years before moving to Inverness.

She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. He was a local resident since 1986 and was formerly of White Plains, and Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Son of the late Paul and Mary Bogan, he was born June 22, 1923 in New York, New York. After graduating from Mount St Michael's in Bronx, New York he joined the United States Navy.

In 1949 he began his employment with Macy's Department Store Security, White Plains. In 1952, he joined the White Plains Police Department He served as President of the White Plains Police Benevolent Association and Westchester County Conference. He then was self employed with Kriollwood Delicatessen, Greenburgh and Phil's Grocery, Peekskill. James andhis wife retired to their home in Cape Cod in 1977. There he was involved in the Lions Club, where he served as president and was employed as a Special Police Officer for Boston Edison.

They returned to Wappingers Falls in 1986 to be closer to family. Sadly, tragedy stuck in 1990 when he losf his son, Michael Patrick and his mother in law, Eliza McCat lum Hunter in a house fire. James also was an avid golfer and loved to read. James is survived by his wife, Iso bel "Ibby Hunter Bogan whom he married September 11, 1949; his children, Bonnie Jean Schelechow and her husband, Vic, of. Ann, attended Albany Business College prior to working for over 40 years for the Social Security Administration in Poughkeepsie. Bom on November 11, 1932 in Tivoli, NY, she was the daughter of Eugene S. and Anna Moore Conway. Mrs, Jezsu was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Poughkeepsie. She was very devoted to her animals and had a great love for dogs.

Ann always loved helping other people and was a very caring and kina person. On March 3, 1962 at the Church of St Peters in Kingston, Ann married John J. Jezsu. Mr. Jezsu predeceased her on June 27, 1986.

Survivors include a brother and sister in law Bernard and Eleanor Conway of Poughkeepsie; aunt and uncle Violet and) Donald Schaffer of Tivoli; and numerous cousins. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5 at Parmele Funeral Home, 110 Fulton Ave. Poughkeepsie. POUGHQUAG, NY George Harris Kiouttis (nee Charalambous), 95, of Poughquag, died Monday, September 25, 2006 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was a veteran of the U.S, Navy, serving during WWII as a Petty Officer Second Class on the USS Indiana (BBm He worked for General Motors on the assembly line in Tarrytown, NY until his retirement He was a member of the First Reformed Church of Flshkill and was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York, Beacon Lodge No. 0283. He was also a member of the Wappingers Falls Seniors and the Tymore Seniors, George was predeceased by his first wife. Elizabeth Juliana Szucsy Kiouttis in 1964. On November 4, 1966, in Yonkers, he married his second wife, Florence Caranassios.

Mrs. Kiouttis survives at home. He is also survived by a son, Stephen G. Kiouttis of Annville, PA; his step son, Donald Williams and his wife, Esther, of Merritt NC: his step daughter, Veronica Badowski and her husband, William, of Union Vale, NY, a sister, Katina Charalambides of Cyprus; two step grandchildren, Keith Badowski of Phenix City, AL and Kelly D. Stokes of Portland, ME and a step great grandson, John A.

Mrs. Owen was employed as a Therapy Aide for Wassaic Developmental Center, where she had worked for 20 years before retiring. Born June 30, 1912 in Brookfield, VT, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Exilda (Gadway) Brassard. On January 14, 1938 she married Harold S. Owen in Northfield, VT.

Mr. Owen predeceased her on November 24,1982. Survivors include five children, Jean Clinton and husband, George, of Amenia, NY, Beverly Venette of New Port Richie, Elaine Tompkins, and 'her husband, Hart, of Holiday, FL, Barbara Bagomolny and her husband, Arthur, of Lady Lake, and Mary Lou Murphy and Lloyd Graybill of Safety Harbor, with whom she made her home; nine' grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Besides'her parents and husband, she is predeceased by a son in law, Jack Venette; five brothers, Henry, Alfred, Edward, Louis and Clarence; three sisters, Minnie Brassard, Mary parley and Anna Sibley; and four grandchildren, Laurie Clinton, Neil Jackie Sigler and Paula Bagomolny.
