weddings George Sackelos Kardas Drew The Rev. Mario Bastone heard the vows of Miss D. Karen Drew and Stanley L. Kardas in marriage ceremonies at Mt. Carmel Church.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Drew of 25 Sheraton Drive, Town of Poughkeepsie. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.

Leonard Kardas, 71 Buckingham City of Poughkeepsie. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Mrs. Diane Serino as matron of honor. Bridal attendants included Miss Ruth. Drew, the bride's cousin, of Portsmouth, R.I., Mrs.

Eileen Stickle of Wappingers Falls, Miss Miriam Pendleton of Vermont, and Miss Maureen Gates and Mrs. Ann McRoberts, the groom's sister, both of James P. Morris served as best man. Ushers were Peter Serino, Joseph Panessa, the groom's cousin, Dan McRoberts, John Drew of Vermont, and William Drew, the bride's brothers. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Hedges in West Park.

Zonta Club picnic slated The Zonta Club of Poughkeepsie will hold a program meeting on Monday at the home of the president, Sharon Cosgrove, Titusville Heights, Poughkeepsie.
