Hubbard. 67, a retired electronics technician with IBM Poughkeepsie. died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital. Town of Poughkeepsie, after a long Mr.

Hubbard of 30 Swcnson Drive had been a lifelong resident of Wap pingcrs Falls: He was a member of St. Mary's Church, 19 Clinton Wappingers Falls'. Mr. Hubbard was a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club. IBM Retirees Club, the American Association of Rehired Persons, the American Amateur Radio League and the Beacon Radio Club.

He was born April 16. 1917. in' Poughkeepsie, the son of Robert and Ceorgiana Skinner Hubbard. He was educated in Poughkeepsie schools and was a graduate of Poughkeepsie HlghSctioor. Mr.

Hubbard was married June I. 1940. in Poughkeepsie to Blanche Rb berg Hubbard, who survives In addition to his wife. Mr Hubbard is survived by two daughters, Ceorgiana Cronk of F'ishkill and Linda Hubbard of Poughkeepsie; two sons. Robert A.

Hubbard of Verbank and Richard A. Hubbard of Wappingers Falls: five grandchildren; one' sister. Hazel Shove of. New Haven. several nieces and nephews.

the Dutchess County unit of the American Cancer Society. LIVINGSTON (Columbia County) Emilie M. Westover. 98, who formerly operated a dairy farm witf) her husband in Chatham (Columbia County), died Sunday at the Adven list Nursing Home, Livingston. (Columbia County).

Mrs. Westover. a resident of the nursing home since March 24. 1980, was a me.mber of Methodist Church in Spcncertown (Columbia County). She was a lifetime member of the Spencertown Grange and the Garden Club in Morehouse Corners.

N.Y. Mrs. Westover was born Feb. 10, 1887. in East Chatham (Columbia Cpunty).

the daughter of Frederick and Amanda Ostrandcr. Voice. She was married in March 1909 to Reuben M. Westover. who died Sept.

7 1969. Mrs. Westover is survived by one daughter. Clara Essig of Staatsburg; two sons, Frank Westover of Ger manlown (Columbia County) and Seymour Westover of Poughkeepsie; one sister. Minnie Lind of Rhine beck; two brothers.

"Pat" Oakes, 65. a retired employee with Hess Oil in Poughkeepsie since 1976, died March 22 in Clearwater. Mr. Oakes of 1227 Amble Lane. had previously lived on Dutchess Turnpike, Poughkeepsie.

He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Poughkeepsie. Mr, Oakes was a member of the. Poughkeepsie Elks Lodge 275; Clearwater American Legion Post 7, and the Retirees Club of Local 445 of. the Teamsters union in Poughkeepsie. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard during World War II.

Mr. Oakes Was born April 3. 1919, in Conn. He was married in 196S in Poughkeepsie to the former Elizabeth S. Doyl Shultis of Poughkeepsie, who survives.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Oakes is Sidney Weisberger NEW YORK Sidney Weisberger, 79. a taxicab salesman in New York City, died Sunday at his home. Mr. Weisberger was born Feb.

207 1906, the son of Herman and Lcba Weisberger. He was married to the former Shirley Schwartz, who survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Weis berger is survived by two sons, Leonard Weisberger of New York City and Alan Weisberger of California; five grandchildren; two sister, Minnie Stamm of Poughkeepsie and Leah Landsman ot California. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m.

20. a student at Buffalo State College in Buffalo (Eric County), was found slain Friday in Tampa, Fla. Miss Vaccaro had lived in the Town of LaG range five years. She previously lived in New Rochcllc (Westchester County). She was a member of the Church of Holy Trinity, 775 Main Town of Poughkeepsie.

Miss Vaccaro was born May 6, 1964. in New Rochelle. the daughter of John Land Adele UCavalieri Vac caro. She was a graduate of Arlington High School. In addition to her parents.

Miss Vaccaro Is survived by two brothers. Thomas Vaccaro of Newburgh and Pptcr Vaccaro of Poughkeepsie; five sisters. Patricia Benvcnuto of Rocky Point (Suffolk County), Calh'y Minen na of Freehold, N.J'., Nancy Sarich of Putnam Valley (Putnam County), Mary Jane DeLcno of New Rochcllc and Toni Vaccaro of Poughkeepsie; one paternal grandmother, Cecilia Vaccaro of Highland; one maternal, grandmother, Mae Cavalieri of the Bronx; nieces, two nephews, three aunts and one uncle. Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
