P. Wilson Considered la Xxeonttve Session Or. Wilson Saspenoed tor One Year. Tbe semi snnual meeting of Ibe Dutchess County Medical Society took place at the court house Wednesday afternoon. At tbe roll call there were about twenty Ave members ot tbe society present.

President Doughty, of Flsbklli, occupied the chair, and Secretary Sadlier, of this was present. The expected consideration of the Poucber Wil son case gave unusual Interest to the meeting in the estimation of the doctors. After the reading and approval of the minutes of the last meeting, the following new members were admitted Dm. rft Bunce, of Pough keepaie, C. F.

Burlington, of Pawling, W. G. Dobson, of this city, M. Langdon Bird and K. R.

Daley, of the Matteawan asylum, J. R. English, Fishkill Landing, E. Putnam, 11. K.

Baright and Frank Williame, of the.Uudson River State Hospital, and Dr. Murdock, of Cold Spring. Dr. Barton, of Tivoli, reported on tbe small poxcases in tbat place early in tbe spring, and Dr. Barnes, of Pleasant Valley, read an interesting paper.

This wai about all tbat was done except tbe bearing and consideration of the report on the Poucher Wilson case, and as soon aa that matter was reached the society went into executive sessioa, which, of course excluded alf outsiders. The case Is well known by the publlo, having been stated in tbe papers. One Johnson, of Fishkill, sued Dr. Poucber for malpractice, and Dr. J.

P. Wilson was a witnpK. agsinst him. Dr. Poucher charged tlmt Dr.

Wilaon instigated the suit, snd preftrred charges sgainst him before the toci ty. At tbe annual meeting of the society last winter The irrttie hands of committia minora, composed of the president, (Dr. Doughtj), the vice president (Dr. Coutar.t), the secretary, (Dr. Sadlier) and tl.e two delegates to the state society (Dr, Ward and Dr, Iluntingtoi), to investigate and report to the meeting just held.

It was difficult to tind out all tbat was done in the executive session, bm we lea bat tbe committee eport tbat they not And sufficient evi dence that the accused had instigated the suit against Dr. Poucher, but he assisted in the. prosecution of the suit, and that he acted in an unprofessional manner, and the committee recommended tbe doctor's suspension for one year. After the was made, and before the the country suggested that, as the society wanted to vote intelligently on the question, the evidence taken by the committee be read, and as Dr. Wilson insisted upon it, tbat was done, Tbe report was quite bulky, and consumed some three weary hours, Tbe vote was then taken, and the report and recom mendatlon were sustained by a vote Si to 1.

Locusts iQ.Datchesa County, Lewis Carman, station agent on tbe D. C. R. at Bangall, has cap tured a large lot of locusts, which lie has sent to friends 1n New York. Mr.

Car man said that the ground near the woods looks like empty honey combs where the locusts have crawled out, leaving a hole about two inches deep. After the locusts get out of the ground they crawl to the tree, then tbey pull themselves out of their shell, after which they soonTrunoffy'abolirTirid" aing. Millions of locusts are located in De grofl's woods, north of Pleasant Valley They keep up a continual song day and night, which can be distinctly beard for a half mile.
