Italy Monsignor Cantatore was born Feb 24, 1906 in Italy He attended schools in Ruvo. was a graduate of the Pontifical Seminary of Pius XI in Molfetta, Ban Italy, and completed his theological studies at St Joseph's Seminary and College at Dunwoodic, Yonkcrs The Rev Cantatore was ordained a priest in June 7. 1930. at St Patrick's Cathedral in New York City During Uie next 14 years, he served as associate pastor in Ihe parishes of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church in Yon kers. Saint Roch's in the Bronx.

Our Lady of Loretto in Manhattan, and Holy Rosary in Manhattan On Jan. 19, 1944. the Rev. Cantatore was appointed pastor of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.

Oie daughter of Daniel and Anna Schall Bermes. She was married to John May, who died In 165. Mrs. May Is survived by two ions, George May of Poughquag and John May of Sprakers: two grandchildren and one great granddaughter. No calling hours are scheduled.

He previously lived in New York City. He was also employed as a custodian at Highland High School for IS years until his retirement June 30. 1977. Mr. Beziaro was a member of St.

Augustine Church, Highland He was born Oct. 6, 1914, in New York City, the son of Philip Anthony and Antoinette Scarclla Bezzaro He was educated In Highland schools. Mr. Bezzaro was married Oct. 29, 1938, In Highland, to the former An Max Ways, former Time editor, dies gela Burrasca of Highland, who survives.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Bezzaro Is survived by one daughter, Annette Lyons of Highland; one son, Philip Bezzaro of Highland; three sisters, Mildred Rugglerlo of Newburgh, and Marie Pape and Jennie Bezzaro, both of Highland; five grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces, nephews and cousins. NEW YORK (AP) Max Ways, a former editor at Time and Fortune magazines, has died of a heart attack. Time Inc. announced Thursday. He was 79 and lived In Manhattan. Ways, who died Tuesday at a Manhattan hospital, retired in 1972 as associate managing editor of Fortune, which he Joined in 1959 after serving as a writer and editor for Time magazine.

John F. Larson HYDE PARK John F. Larson. 78, a toolmaker with Falrchild Camera and Instrument In Hicksville, for many years until his retirement in 1971, died Wednesday at Northern Dutchess Hospital In Rhin ebeck after a brief Illness. Mr.

Larson had been a resident of the Hyde Park Nursing Home since 1976. He previously lived In Baldwin, LI. He was born Nov. 17, 1906, in New York City, the son of John Fritoff and Hilda Larson. Mr.

Larson was married June 1, 1935. In New York City, to the former Ruth Fraltes. who died in 1973. Mr. Larson is survived by two sons, Jon Frederick Larson of Hyde Park and Gary Gene Larson of Raleigh, five grandchildren, one greatgrandchild and several nieces and nephews.

No calling hours are scheduled. Services will be al a later date. Cremation will be at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sweet's Funeral Home, Hyde Park.
