Unit Deadlocks On King Plans Members of the dtya Planning Board at a meeting yesterday deadlocked, to 1, over tbe controversial question of rezoningan Eighth Ward tract to an 5 high density multiple dwelling classification. Leon Bloom, board president, today attributed the deadlock to the issue of access roads In the plan, which if approved would permit construction' of 118 apartment house units on Sidney King's four acre tract.

The vote resulted from the fact that there is a vacancy on the seven man board, no successor having been appointed to the late Superintendent of Pubiia Works Harold Deaa Herman Levine, attorney for Mr King, today said he hopes the application will go through because "I feel that we are not asking for anything unreasonable." Mr. Bloom said, "The Planning Board after due deliberation has not been able to give a positive action on the rezoning matter referred to it by the Common Council. The area of disagreement did not lie within the area of land use and density but solely within Hie area of access." Dr. Murphy Weds Hew York Socialite NEW YORK. (AP) Cr.
