The charges were filed against Alfonso A. Salas in Cascade County District Court after a 13-year-old girl disclosed information to a therapist last week and police conducted a forensic interview with her where she reported Salas had sexually assaulted her approximately 30 times over the last few years. On July 7, 1961 they were blessed with a baby girl, Tana. Eighteen months later on January 24, 1963, another daughter, Kim was born. In 1969 Wayne gathered up his family and moved to Billings, Montana to manage the parts department for Frontier Chevrolet.

Four years later they were moving once again to Butte where they found their home. Wayne managed the parts department of Copper City Chevrolet and then Jim Kraut Chevrolet until 1975 when he decided to venture out on his own and start the prosperous business of Montana Muffler. On September 23, 1975 a surprise package of another baby girl, Lisa, was born. With their hands full with a growing business and another mouth to feed, they buckled down and developed their growing business into not only Donald W. Smith WINIFRED Donald W.

Smith 86 of Winifred died early Sunday morning, April 27th, 2014 in Valle Vista Manor in Lewistown of natural causes. He was born September 28, 1927 in the Lewistown, MT the son of Art and Lena (Jurgens) Smith. He received his education in Winifred graduating from Winifred High School in 1945. He enlisted in the United States Army in February of 1946 and was honorably discharged in July of 1947. He returned to Winifred and the family farm.

ON February 7, 1953 he was united in marriage to Dicy Simac of Winifred. He continued farming and helped install the Winifred water and sewer system, build the Winifred School and worked on the missile sites in the area. His first harvest was in 1947 and his last was in 2010. Don was a lifelong member of the Eagles Lodge of Lewistown and the American Lutheran Church in Winifred. He is survived by his wife Dicy of Winifred, daughters June Russell-Swartz Former Choteau resident June Russell Swartz, 66, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away April 17, 2014, of natural causes just three months after tragically losing Russell-Swartz her beloved daughter Collete in an accidental saltwater drowning in Washington state.

A memorial and life celebration for both June and Collete will be held Saturday, May 17, at 11 a.m. in the Choteau Pavilion. June was born in Choteau on Jan. 10, 1948, to Clifford and Shirley (Jacobs) Gray. She attended Choteau Public Schools, graduating from high school in 1966.

June married her high school sweetheart, Clark Russell, shortly after graduation and their daughter Collete was born in March 1967; with their son Jason following in January 1970. They divorced in 1977, and June then moved to Great Falls, where she met and later married her lifelong mate, Gary Swartz. They made two retail shops for mufflers and brakes but also a wholesale location of independent muffler shop supplies for the eleven western states. In 1984 Wayne added the manufacturing of glass pack mufflers to his list of accomplishments. In 1999 his California competition offered him a price for his accomplishments that he couldn't refuse.

At the age of 50 he was now afforded the opportunity to start traveling. He always said he had Gypsy blood. Dad worked very hard all his life but also knew how to play. Every weekend was loading either motorcycles, snowmobiles or boats. Cramming in as much fun as they possibly could.

With a twinkle in his eye he would look at Mom as he was pulling into the driveway with something new in tow and say, "Look Mom, it followed me home!" We love you very much and will miss you greatly. Way is preceded in death by his parents; Levi and Sena, wife Jackie, son Kenneth, son-in-law, Tony Rich and granddaughter, Misty Alley (Rich). Living family members are daughter and family, Tana, Bren and Sara Petersen of Missoula, daughter and husband, Kim and Matt Krsul of Butte, daughter, Lisa Hendrixson of Las Vegas, granddaughter and family, Sheena, Trevor, Keegan, Bailey and Madison Murphy of Helena and great-grandson, Tony Alley (dad, Kevin Alley) of Butte. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home in Butte with Pastor Ron Martin-Dent officiating.

Entombment of ashes will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and six sisters. Funeral Services for Donald W. Smith will be Friday, May 2nd, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
