Visitation will be available to family and friends on Thursday, January 15th from 6pm-8pm in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 16th at 2:00 PM, also at Steven was born on June 14, 1951 in Great Falls, Montana to Carsten A. Royland and Leona M. (Larson) Royland. He attended school in Great Falls.

After honorably serving his country in the Navy during the Vietnam War, Steven returned to civilian life working at the BP in Wyoming. Upon returning to Great Falls he worked as a bartender at the Spot Bar and at Napa Auto Parts for several years until he was forced to relinquish his position due to illness. Steven married the love of his life, Rosalie Simonich on July 4, 2014 at the Hospital Chapel. Steven loved the outdoors and everything that entailed, including camping, and hunting. His love for animals was similarly strong, especially for his three dogs and three cats.

Steven was the one to help anybody out that needed it. He was a very personable guy who always seemed to be surrounded by friends, all of which he cared for deeply just as they cared for him. He will be missed tremendously by his family and all who knew him. Survivors are his wife, Rosalie; sisters, Karen and Bonnie Royland, both of Great Falls and Bette Parkin of Utah; daughter, Lori Fura of Colorado; stepdaughter, Lacey Simonich of Missoula; stepsons, Jacob Simonich of Missoula and Jeff Mael and Dustin Dabler, both of Great Falls; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Those who have preceded Steven in death are his father, Carsten (Jeri) Royland; mother, Leona (Victor) McKenzie; brother, Michael Royland; loving aunt, Renee Larson Prareateau; and grandparents, Lester and Amanda Larson.

The family will be having a celebration of life at a later date.

She was born on April 24th, 1962 in Butte Montana to Robert and Diane Hakala. She later received her GED and married Red Ave in 1981. From this union they had two daughters; Brandie (1981) and Crystal (1983). In 1984 the couple moved to Gillette where their daughters received their education. They later divorced in 1995.

After her divorce, she moved back to Butte Montana where she owned and operated a business that she was very passionate about. Her business consisted of caring for clients homes and detailing vehicles. Darla loved many things which included, American eagles, camping, traveling, and any outdoor activities, but her favorite thing of all was spending time with her grandchildren. She was blessed with nine of them. When she spending time with her grandchildren, she had her 2 dogs, Scrappy and Star; not very often was she without them.

In 2007, she had the unfortunate happen, she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, not only did she this once but twice. She fought and survived this battle with everything she had. In 2013 she was given the opportunity to move to North Dakota by her lifelong friend Andy Anderson. She was very blessed to of been given all that she had from him. She loved generously, worked hard, and touched the lives of the many people that will miss her dearly.

Darla is survived by her Mother Diane Stedman daughters Brandie (Josh) Crystal Ave (Edward Hyatt) one brother Danny Blackwood, and six sisters, Mona Campbell, Marsha Tenant, Penny Hansell, Tena Blackwood, Lesa Hakala, Nancy Lofton, and nine grandchildren. Proceeded in death by her father Robert Hakala her brother Robert Hakala and sister Robin Lamere. Thelma Jean Nelson was born in Wagin, Western Australia to George and Selina Nelson on May 10, 1926. She met her husband, Waden Coy Fultz, while he was serving in the US Navy and was stationed in Australia. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, George and Selina Nelson; husband, Waden Coy Fultz, son Robert Coy Fultz; two sisters Aileen Rapanick and Joyce Morgan; and a great grandson, Trey VanSickle.

Thelma is survived by her sister Elaine Guy and brother Geoff (Vi) Nelson of Australia; sons George (Lorrie) Fultz of Great Falls, Ted (Donita) Fultz of Fort Benton; daughters Lorraine Fultz, Lynn (Roger) Cook, Lana (Bob) Claassen, all of Fort Benton; daughter-in-law Linda Fultz of Roberts. 16 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.
