(Sentinel photo) Manhattan Junior Craft Blasts Off at Sandyview A lot of sixth grade ingenuity and imagination made a space launching pad of John Boer- rnan's class room at Sandyview School Friday. In a spaceship Manhattan Junior, astronauts Dennis Peters and Mark De Jonge made an imaginary space flight. (UP!) --The first woman pastor in the American Lutheran Church (ALC) --the first woman in the country assigned to parish ministry --has been ordained here. Sunday's ordination of Barbara Andrews, 34, who is confined to a wheelchair by cerebral palsy, was made possible when the ALC approved ordination of women at its convention in October. It is the second Lutheran group to remove the sex restriction. The Lutheran Church in America (LCA), the other Lutheran body to remove restrictions against women, ordained Elizabeth A. Platz a month ago in Baltimore.
