Just a year after that restaurant opened, another franchise location was established at the new Marketplace at Franklin shopping center. Rudy Phillips and his wife are co-owners of the Marketplace at Franklin restaurant, which opened in February. Phillips said business was on a steady rise until shopping center anchor Albertson's grocery store vacated "We're going through a situation right now where the Albertson's is gone," Phillips said.

"Business has kind of leveled off since they've been gone. We're looking forward to a new anchor coming in. Any time you have a major anchor leaving like that, it affects business for a short period of time. "We're probably the newest entry into the fast-foodnot-fast-food type restaurants. We're a healthy-type food with our sandwiches, soups and salads.

People are tending to eat more healthy, and we're a healthy way to do fast food." Cox said the West End Atlanta Bread location will be identical to; the suburban locations, except his new spot will focus more on catering and delivery to nearby busi- nesses. The West End Atlanta Bread will seat 130 people, and hours of operation will be from 630 am to 10 pm seven days a week. "We're going to emphasize catering more than the other franchises," Cox said.
