Thomas; daughters Diana Stuchell, Debbie, Donna Thomas; six grandchildren. MY ANSWER Question: What would you say to someone who claims to be a Christian but is very negative and judgmental of people around her? She works in the same place I do, and no one likes her because she Billy Graham has such a superior attitude. Is this what Christians are supposed to be like? Mrs. R.W.H. Answer: No, it is not.

That does not mean she is not a Christian but it does mean she has failed to put into practice the Bible's command: "Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought. Honor one another above yourselves. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud. Do not be conceited" (Romans Remember that our example is Jesus Christ.

If anyone had the right to be proud it was He, for He was the Son of God who came from the very throne of heaven. But instead Christ walked with the lowly people of this Earth, showing them God's love and reaching out to them. Listen to what the Bible says of Christ, and of the way those who claim to be His followers should think and act: "Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness He humbled Himself and became obedient to death (Philippians My prayer is that you will not let the failures of one person keep you from Christ. God loves you, and Christ died for you so that you could be forgiven of your sins and come to know God in a personal way. Tribune Media Service fc- 1 fV Associated Press Tucson, Ariz.
