She was born in Bowdle, South Dakota and came to Oregon with her family as a young child. In 1951, she met and married Frank Fredricks, whom she shared 60 years of marriage. Together they owned and managed Fitts Seafoods for many years. Later in life, she and Frank traveled all 49 continental states, Canada, and Mexico in their motor home. Dar loved to cook and share time with family and friends. Her greatest joy though was playing with all of her grandchildren. She loved being “Grammie.” She is survived by her daughter, Diane of Keizer, her son, Paul of Portland, her sister, Carol of Klamath Falls, her brother, Bruce of Salem, three grandchildren, l vegreat-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Life will be planned later. Contributions, in lieu of kowers, can be made to Oregon Talking Books and Braille Library.
