WJBl-AM SUNDAY P.M. WHTC-AM The Church of the Back to God Hour New Format For Classes Set at Grace A completely new educational program, modeled in part on an experiment of the Hope College Department of Education, was inaugurated at Grace Episcopal Church last Sunday when the 21-member faculty of the parish's Church School registered students for the year.

James W. Wilson is superintendent cf the Church School and the Rev. Robert A. Winter, rector of Grace Church, recruited the teachers. Key to the program, according to Wilson, is the division of the curriculum into three terms for each of two years.

Terms range from seven to 12 weelfs and most faculty members will teach only a single term. The idea of the program germinated from an experiment conducted in the Holland Public Schools by Hope's Education Department this year. Groups of college students enrolled in education courses developed a "single-concept" teaching idea, which was brought into the Longfellow School, where Fr. Winter's son, Christopher, was enrolled. They took the students on a tour of the post office, and then went on with several other related units.

After a summer's planning, Ihe program is now ready. Teaching first and second graders about the relationship between the family and the Church will be Mrs. Ronald Bos and David Cotts. The third and fourth grades will study "Decalogue Appreciation" -the nature of the Ten Commandments and something of their content under Mrs. Henry J.
