Saturday wedding of Miss Esther Timmer and John D. Wiersma. The couple was united in marriage by the Rev. Wesley, brother of the bride. Mrs.

John De Weerd, organist, accompanied the soloist, the Eev, John HaJnes. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Henry W. Timmer, 6230 Adams Zeeland, and Mr.

and Mrs. Dan Wiersma, 9816 Wiersma Zeeland. The bride wore a floor-length gown of ivory silk organza with peau d'ange lace accented with pearls on the empire bodice, victoian neckline and lantern sleeves. Garlands of matching lace edged the hemline and accented the A-line skirt and fan- shaped train. A profile headpiece of lace and organza flowers and leaves accented with pearls secured her train- length veil and she carried a colonial bouquet of white orchids, white pompons and stephanotis.

The bridesmaids carried similar bouquets and the flowergirls carried baskets of flowers. Richard Van Eenenaam was best man with 'Jack Van Eden, Scot Van Hoven and Mark Engle as groomsmen. A reception was held in the church-parlors with the Misses Sharon and Mary Timmer and Laurie Van Rhee in the gift room.
