Sgt. Rollin Stallman left Tuesday for Camp Gordon, near Augusta, after spending a furlough with his wife, Alice, North Mad Anthony Millersburg, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Stallman of Holmesville. Cpl.

Donovan L. Patterson recently received the new Infantry Man's expert medal while stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. Cpl. Patterson has been transferred to Camp San Luis Obispo, Calif. He is the son of Mr.

address out of New York City, has recently been promoted from Seaman Second Class to Seaman First class. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Crawford of Holmesville. wife and child live at Benton.

Harry R. Painter of Millersburg has been promoted to corporal, following his graduation from Cadro school at Aberdeen Provfng Grounds, Aberdeen, Md. Walter Gail Mote, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.

Mote, South Monroe Millersburg, is in training at the IT. S. Naval Training Station at Great Lakes, 111. He graduated from Millersburg high school this spring. Wallace E.

Michel has returned to camp after spending a week-end leave with his wife and children west of Millersburg. He is stationed at Little Creek, Va. Mr and Mrs. W. H.

Patterson of south of Killbuck have received word that their son, Pvt. Judson Patterson has been in France since the beginning of the invasion. His address may be obtained from his parents. Pvt Marvin B. Zickefoose, Glenmont, Ohio, has arrived overseas, after completing his training at Camp Hood, Texas.

Ellen Gallagher, of Columbus, who taught home economics in the Millersburg high school the past year has resigned to enter radio work.
