She served as a troop leader for the Girl Scouts and participated on the Parents Advisory Board for the Boy Scouts. She was responsible for the organization and success of The Odessey of the Mind Program at both Nolensville Elementary and Brentwood Middle School Car ol also devoted much time and energy to the concerns of her community.
