Milton Zaagman and a Grand Rapids funeral director, drowned Saturday while bathing in Lake Michigan off Stickney Ridge. The body was recovered about 75 yards from shore and Zaagman was pronounced dead at the scene. Zaagman, with a summer home in Hplcomb Hills, was swimming with two friends iron Muskegon who said they were tiring of the rough waters and were going ashore.

They said Zaagman told them he would be in shortly. Moments later the pair saVi they heard Zaagman cry for help and they launched a boat from shore to aid him but lost sight of Zaagman in the rough waters. Zaagman is survived by his widow, Henrietta; four sons, Milton, Kenneth, Robert and Philip, partners in the funeral a sister and 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services were scheduled in Grand Rapids. Zaagman was the fourth drowning victim of the year in Ottawa County.

'Buck' Read Dies at 90 KALAMAZOO (UPI)--Funeral services were to be held in Newport Beach, today for Herbert W. "Buck" Read, Herbert (Buck) Read retired Western 'Michigan "University basketball coach. Read, 90, died at Newport Beach Saturday. As basketball coach at WMU teams compiled a 351-172 record and in the 1929-30 year the 'Broncos won 17 and lost none. The field house at WMU is named in Ms honor.

Funeral Tuesday For Ronald Coe Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Church for AES 3 Ronald J. Coe of 33 East 16th who died Friday at Churchill County Hospital in Fallon, following an automobile accident near there. Msgr.

J. A. Moleski will officiate and burial will be in Pilgrim Home cemetery. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Lowell T. Coe of Holland; sisters, Mrs. David (Marie) Van Dyke of Holland and Lee Ann at home; one brother Thomas Michael at home; his grandparents, Mr. and Sirs. Leonard Me Pherson of Largo, Fla.

and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Coe of Flint. Mr Coe was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church.
