Crowley and Mrs. Emily Rains and sons. Wendell, Sherry and Rose Leach went fishing. Caught some catfish-Guess who had to clean them! Junior Queen Ann Club Met Mrs. Jean Roy was program chairman for the April 12th meeting of the Junior Queen Anne Club.

She carried out the Easter theme with an Easter egg hunt and a game of charades. Present for the meeting were Mrs. Roy, Mrs. Jean McClintock, Mrs. Milbrey Wilhams, Mrs.

Olga Little, Mrs. Paul Lundberg, Mrs. Cleo Coleman. Mrs. Jan Milligan, Mrs.

Judy Trammel, Mrs, GenIvieve Kile, Mrs. Mary Lou Shaddox, and a new member, Mrs. Judy Jackson. During the business meeting plans were made for the International Supper to be held April 26, at which the Senior Queen Anne Club will be our guests. These young ladies are capable singers.

The little Folks of the Church sang Deep and Wide' and Zaccheus A Wee Little Theselittle tolks are well trained and our community really are proud of them. The Young People of the Church also sang several numbers and this is a tine group 01 youth of 17. our community. A trio composed of the Tolbert Sisters from Sine st Mo. sang several numbers and request was joined 17.

a couple of songs by their lather, Rev. Kelly Tolbert. Think most. 0: you in this part of the countr have had the Tolberts sing in. your churches and communities.

They are indeed an inspiration to anyone who hears them sing. If you want to hear the "deep down singing just roll call on Rev. Tolbert. Carla Ratliff, 9 years of age, from Cape, accompanied by her aunt on the piano sang a beautiful solo. I understand that this little girl has been a guest on a religious singing program on several occasions.

A group of young people from Cape and Sikeston sang 'He's Got The Whole World In His "A Closer Walk With and "Amazing Grace." This was a fine group of singers, Debbie McCann sang a solo and was accompanied by Gene Tolbert on the piano. You all know that Gene Tolbert can reaIly make a piano sing. The young people of Chaffee Lapland News of Dogwood Winter? We had something, anyway it was cool and we had a good rain, which was needed very much. I received a letter from Mrs. Luther Boxx, who with her granddaughter, Miss Linda Sparkman, is vacationing with Mrs.

Boxx's sister, Esther. in Florida, stating they are having a Wonderful time, Linda went deep sea fishing with 60 others in a large boat. and she caught the biggest fish of all, a 19 lb. Grouper. She also wrote, "Isn't Spring wonderful Visitors with Mrs.

Nora Kearbey were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Roark of Hunter, Mr. and Mrs. James Webb and daughters, of Elisinore, Mr.

and Mrs. Jim Roark and family, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Roark and family, and Mike Roark, all of St. Louis.

Also Leroy Kindrick. from St. Louis. Mrs. Dorothy Turner and son Marvin visited in St.

Louisover the weekend with relatives. Mrs. Ada Reynolds, Mrs. Malinda Roark, Mrs. Nora Kearbey, Mr.

and Mrs. Frank Roark, and other relatives visited in Hunter Sunday to help Jack Roark. Mike and Jim Roark celebrate their birthdays. We didn't learn the ages, and maybe they are glad: Rev. Mike Collins was ordained last Wednesday night at 9:00 in Springfield, Mo.
