The Capri Twin theater will be razed and replaced by a six-screen Carmike 6 theater complex on the opposite side of the facility where the Bingo Castle is located. Phase I of the makeover entails renovating and expanding the mall, erecting the freestanding strip center building and creating a new entrance on Harding Place. Those projects should be complete by next Christmas season, Miller said. "There will be exteasive changes to entrances into the building, new ceilings and flooring, improved lighting, redesigned store fronts and the addition of skylights," he said. The second phase will deal with the restaurants and new retail shops which will border the new Harding Place entrance.
