Hickman Price Ill Body Recovered A body identified as that of the son of a former Nashville man was recovered yesterday from a moat at the south tower of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Police Lt. Milton O'Brien of the San Francisco Police Department said identification of the body is "positive" as that of Hickman Price Ill, a Stanford University student who had been missing for a week. However, the San Francisco coroner's office listed identification as tentative, pending a fingerprint check today. Price was a son of Hickman Price Jr.

former assistant secretary of commerce in President Kennedy's cabinet and now a businessman in South America. HIS MOTHER is Mrs. Margaret Price, vice chairman of the Democratic National Committee. She is slated to address Davidson County Democratic Women's Club here Oct. 4.

Although marks in the clothing indicated the body was that of the missing youth, 10 notes were found on the body or in Price's expensive sports car which had been abandoned in the bridge parking lot. A week- long search had gun Sept. 3 when the sports car was found. The Coast Guard recovered the body, Tentative identification was based on the fact that the name "Price" WAS tagged on one of the dead man's sox and a friend, Arden Jones of Atherton, said he believed the body was that of Price. PRICE HAD been scheduled to start his junior year at Stanford, where he was a history major.

In pockets of the clothing on the body were $13.87 in cash and an oil company credit card bearing young Price's name. Price's father resigned from the Commerce Department last January to become head of International Products Company, of Paraguay. Mrs. Lois Cummins Services for Mrs. Lois Land Cummins.
