Social Circle Meets. The Social Circle met with Mrs. Charles Hanzlick, January 8 with 13 members present. The afternoon was spent in guessing contests and with the business meeting. At this time it was decided to meet at 2 o'clock instead of 2:30, during the winter At the close of the meeting delicious lunch was served.

W. club will be with Mrs. W. P. Baker January 20, at time plans vail be made for the annual club dinner.

Late in the afternoon the hostess served a delightful lunch. iY Altar Society Meets. The St. Edward's Altar society met Thursday, January 7 with US members present. It was decided to have a program February 7 and a committee to be in charge was appointed: Mrs.

M. L. Baxa, and Miss Josie Konovalske. Mrs. Blair- and Mrs.

Wm. Roberts served lunch. On account of ibad weather, the officers will serve i lunch at the next meeting, February 4. Monday Night Bridge Club. Miss Louise Carstensen charmingly entertained the Monday night bridge club on the evening of January 12.

Following a 7 o'clock dinner at the Hotel Elliott, the club enjoyed a pleasant evening at Miss Carstensen's home, and bridge honors wore given to Airs. P. W. Pierson and Mrs. Sanfoi'd in the evening, dainty refreshments were served to the club members and their guest, Mrs.

James R. Elliott. Mrs. Virgil Marsh became a new member at this time. Marriage License Issued.

A marriage license was issued from the probate judge's office to Miss Lillian Louise Rundus, 21, Belleville and William E. Kalivoda, 22, Narka, on Tuesday, January 12. Heins-Lovci. (liy The Teltienpc't Narka Correspondent) A very pretty wedding was solemnized at Belleville. at 0:30 o'clock, Thursday, January 7, when Miss Ramona Heins, daughter of Mr.

A. C. Heins of New York City and Mr. Rudy Lovci, son of Air. and Airs.

J. Lovci, of Narka, were united in marriage. The Rev. J. G.

Roberts read the impressive ring ceremony in the presence of the witnesses, Miss Helen Lovci, sister of the groom and Mr. Melvin Heins, brother of the bride. The bride was attired in a lovely brown flat crepe with matching accessories. The groom wore an Oxford gray Mrs. Lovci is an honor graduate of the Rusk in high school with the class of 1927.

She took an active part in school activities and a most prominent part in debating. She has attended the University of Nebraska and has been a very successful teacher for four and a half years At the time of her marriage she had been teaching at Big Springs, resigning at Christmas time to become the bride of Mr. Lovci. Mr. Lovci also graduated with honors from the Narka high school in 1923.

lie too, took an active part in school activities and was an all star guard and center in basket ball. He has attended the University of Kansas at Lawrence where he is a member of the honorary business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Pi. While in school there he took an active part in football until an injury prevented his further participation. On Friday, January 8, a wedding- dinner was served at the Joe Lovci home in honor of the bride and groom. Mr.

Leece, both of Fornioso, were united in marriage in a quiet ceremony which" took place at the office of the probate judge at Belleville on Monday, January i), 1032. The bride is the daughter of Air. and Mrs. AY. O.

Briles of Amorita, and the groom, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Leece of Lovewell, Kan. Mrs. Leece was charming in a frock of light blue crepe with matching accessories, and the groom wore a business suit of dark brown.

The young couple will make their home on the groom's farm near nioso. First Baptist Church Sunday school a. m. Topic, and Preaching service 11 a. m.

Potts left for Wichita where they will make their home where Mr. Potts is employed as a barber. Conner-Kerstine. A wedding which took place January 13, 1031, and has just been announced to their many friends is that of Miss Hester Conner of Silver Creek, and Raymond Kcrstine of Omaha. Mrs.

Kerstine is the daughter of Air. and Mrs. I. Conner of Silver Creek. She was employed in Omaha at the time of her marriago.

Mr. Kerstine, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kerstine of Belleville, has been employed as a barber in an Omaha shop for some time. He'is a graduate of the Belleville high school with the class of 1027.

The young couple making their home in Omaha. Mr. and Mrs. O. G.

Clark of Columbus, arrived Monday afternoon, called here by the death of Mrs. Clark's uncle, H. Sanford. remained until after the funeral services on Tuesday. Charter No.
