On account of the advance in almost all lines of General Merchandise, we have laid in our Fall snd Winter Stock some two months earlier than common. We bought $800 worth of Winter. Shoes and Boots in Jane and thereby saved to the consumer fully 10 pr cent. We also bought in June 1,000 worth of Clothing, and we can honestly say, notwithstanding the advance in Wool tod Cotton, that it is the Cheapest lot, by 20 per that we ever bought in our business life. We are just now receiving the largest (by one half) stock of Dry Goods we ever carried.

All other lines are reasonably full and complete So that we never before, since we have been in have been able to lay before you such a splendid outlook as we have for the coming Fall. Returning prosperity, as evidenced on every hand, is surely on us. Crops of all kinds are good, buyers of stock come to our farms and take all they can get fat or lean-l-and that at a good healthy advance over last year's prices. So we think we have reasonable grounds for expecting the largest Fall trade for years, and we are getting ready for it. All the evidences at hand point unquestionably to higher prices later in the Fall.

Consequently we advise you, if you have to buy winter supplies for your family, to buy them at once, Our prices, on an average, are just as low as last year. About 5 grades of Staple Shoes are 10 cents per pair higher; all others are the same or lower. Dry Goods we have not advanced one cent, although we paid higher for some lines; Clothing we sell fully 20 per cent, cheaper than last year; all other lines about the same. We will append a few prices for your inspection: to be used in seating the church. for the Houck road, was in town this week.
