Some 1.000 Baha'is from countries in and around the Caribbean area are expected for the three-day conference that will be held at the Sheraton-Kingston Hotel. The Conference attendees will consider the progress of the Baha'i Faith in the Caribbean area and plan for the expansion of the Faith in the Caribbean, Africa and world-wide. Theme of the Conference will be related to reaching persons of African descent with the Baha'i Message. On Saturday, a special Baha'i musical groups. Two unique events of the conference will be a ship-to-shore telephone hookup between Baha'is on the S.S. New Bahama Star and Baha'is gathered at the Unity Feast at the Sheraton-Kingston on Thursday night.
