Rudy and Frank Lahodny of Belleville were Nurku callers last Thursday. Arthur Molzahn of Munden spent Saturday in Narka. Mi's. Carl McKenzie is taking her vacation from telephone office. Miss Georgia Eakins is substituting in her place.

Mr. and Mrs. Barton Wells and son of Mahaska were Thursday dinner guests of Mrs. Jennie Hutcherson and Miss Myrtle. Miss Vera Spear.s from Mahaska spent several days last week with Miss Ercel Flock.

The members of the Methodist Sunday school held a picnic last Wednesday at Connor's park at Alexandria, Neb. The Presbyterian Sunday school and their friends were invited guestsr About fifty nartook of the picnic dinner and enjoyed swimming and boating in the afternoon. Morton of Narka left Tuesday for points in Wyoming, they are looking for employment.
