Nashville, TN FITZPATRICK, Solon Age 97 yrs, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2002. He was a member of the Tennessee Bar Association for over 65 past member of the Tennessee House of Representatives and State Senate, and on the Board of Directors of Citizens Bank of Carthage TN. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Carthage where he served as a Deacon for over 50 yrs. and also taught the Men's Sunday School Class. He is survived by his wife of 58 Martha Hall Fitzpatrick; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Betty and Jack Masters of Gallatin, TN; grandsons, Courtney and Matthew W.

Nashville, TN LEWIS, Margaret Truman Steele Fahnestock- Died April 18, 2002 in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born in Port Washington, New York, January 18, 1917; the daughter of Florence Truman Steele and Heath McClung Steele. She li lived her early years in Plandome, Long Island, New York. She married John Sheridan Fahnestock (d. 1965), South Seas explorer and former publisher of The Enterprise, a newspaper in southern Maryland.

In 1968 she married William Horace Lewis (d.1997); he was former deputy Director of the Port of New Orleans. She lived in Saint Mary's County most of her adult life and recently resided in Nashville, Tennessee. She was active in the St. Mary's Historical Society, the St. Mary's River Yacht Club and the St.

Ignatius Society. She is survived by her children, Sally-Heath Fahnestock Lloyd of Scottsdale, Arizona, Margaret Sheridan Fahnestock Eriksen of Aston, Pennsylvania and Adam Bruce Falmestock Ill of Brentwood, Tennessee; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Murray, widow of the late Roderick Donald Murray, was born in Cheatham County, TN, on November 23, 1905. She was the daughter of the late Virgil A. Swan and Emma Floyd Murphy Swan. Mrs. Murray was a former President of the Matthews, NC, Woman's Club and also served as Regent of the General Francis Nash Chapter, NSDAR in Nashville.

In addition, she was a member of the Magna Charta Dames and Americans of Royal Descent. At Christ Church she was active in the Daughters of the King for several years. Mrs. Murray served as private secretary for the attorney in the Tennessee Department of Safety. She is survived by a daughter, Priscilla M.

Steagall of Charlotte, NC; two granddaughters, Sayle S. Tucker of Charlotte and Sally S. Barker and her husband, Robert of Southern Pines, NC; and two greatgranddaughters, Haley Barker and Skye Tucker. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2002, at Christ Church Cathedral Chapel.
