Richard Leon Lester, 77, of Pulaski, a retired oil distributor, died yesterday of cancer in Giles County Hospital.

Mr. Starkey died Wednesday in Monmouth Community Memorial Hospital. He was a Nashville native and a veteran of World War II. Mr. Starkey was a member of the Methodist Church.
