I Seymour man, 18, dies when his car slides off icy road From Staff and Special Dispatches SEYMOUR, Ind.

An 18-year-old Seymour man was killed Friday night when his car slid off the road on an icy hill in rural Jackson County and hit a tree, according to the Jackson County Sheriffs Department. Jeremiah Barlow was pronounced dead at Memorial Hospital after the wreck, which occurred about 9 p.m. on County Road 975, south of Ind. 58. A passenger, Eric Johnson, 22, of Norman, was treated at the hospital and released.

Barlow is survived by his father, Royce A. Barlow; his mother, Lori Lauf Smith; a half brother, Josh Barlow; a half sister, Courtney Barlow; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Lauf and Mr. and Mrs.

Russ Barlow; and great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Greene. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Myers Funeral Service, Burkholder Chapel, with burial in Im-manuel Lutheran Cemetery.
