hospitalized several times during the past year uneral services were Wednesday from church and Oakwood Mr Morrison was a native of the Stony Point community a son of the late James Calvin Morrison and Mrs Martha Hall Morrison He lived in his home community for the greater part of his life and was engaged in farming Coming to Statesville in later years he was employed while his health permitted at the Empire Knitting Mills On March 7 1913 he was married to Mios Archy Harris of Alex ander county His wife survives and three children Mr Walter Morrison and Mrs Matha Speaks of Statesville and Mrs Joe Taylor of Denton There are eight grandchildren One brother also survives Mr Walter Morrison of Stony Point and a number of nieces and nephews Mr Morrison a life long member of the Presbyterian
