H. Brubaker and family. B. W. Henneke took their daughter, Kathryn, back to her school in Castroville Friday.

She spent the spring vacation with her family here. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Streckfuss and family on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs.

Fred Huebner and Mrs. Mathilda Schley, all of Houston. Betty Sue was celebrating her 7th birthday last weekend. Mr. and Mrs.

Nolan Bear of Wallis and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Walger of Orchard visited the Johnnie Kocureks Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs.

H. D. Mayberry and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Woods and family in Caldwell on Sunday.

Mrs. Mayberry reports that Mrs. Morris Stone is substitute teaching the 4th grade. Mr. and Mrs.

England of Collbran, Colorado was expected this week for a visit with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Gross and daughters spent the Easter weekend at their farm in Huntsville. Ark.

They plan to move there when school is out. Mr. and Mrs. James Givens of Pettus spent the weekend with their daughter, Mr. and Mrs.

Herbert Gross and family. Mrs. Robert Stewart and Beth of Petersburg spent Wednesday and Thursday with her sister, Mr. and'Mrs. Milton Schmidt and family.

Mrs. Stewart went by Kerrville to pick up her moth- er, Mrs. Berenice McDowell, and take her to Petersburg for a visit. John Tatum, Lee Don Bienski and Hank Schmidt were home from A last weekend. Hank will play with the Aggie Band for the Battle of Flowers in San Antonio on Friday.

Mrs. Roberta Sage has been on the sick list. Mrs. O. M.

Pederspn and Mrs. Adam Bijie visited Mrs. Jerry Robertson in Methodist Hospital last Sunday. Linda Walters spent ternoon. She also invited Mrs.

Ramona Bains and her daughter, Mrs. Eileen Pederson for coffee and cake. Good to see Mr. Sam Garrett iii town and feeling better after being ill for some time. Mr.

Hugo Wollgast in Waller on Saturday evening. Cookie and Keith Brunei- have returned to Texas Tech after spending the spring vacation visiting their families in Houston and Brookshire.
