(UP)—Automobiles will be barred this year from the summit of Cadillac mountain, which dominates Acadia National Park, but motor traffic may be permitted to go part way up the mountain if suitable turning space can be provided. Wartime restrictions will, not affect the rest of Mount Desert island's hug? network of scenic highways, according to B. L. Hadley. assistant superintendent of the park, and the usual influx of vacationing motorists is anticipated. Last year 423,088 persons and 106,022 automobiles visited the park, which boasts 33 miles of major motor highways. There are about 75 miles of major town and state highways on the island, and about 55 miles of carriage roads. If you want to buy more Defense Bonds SELL US THE FURNHUHE YOU ARE NOT USING for cash!
