He served in the United States Coast Guard. After college Goldstein managed the Downtowner Motor Inn in Rochester. He later was employed by Pillsbury's Burger King Unit, becoming a Regional Director. He and a partner subsequently became franchisees and successfully owned and operated several stores in the Baltimore-Eastern Shore Region. He was an avid sailor and member of the Annapolis Yacht Club and enjoyed participating in the Annapolis-Bermuda Race.

As a private pilot he flew recreationally domestically and to Europe. Goldstein and his wife Barbara moved to Killington, Vermont in 1988. Reflecting his passion for skiing and snowboarding, he was an instructor at the Killington Ski Resort for over twenty years. In the past year he had taken up golf with an equal passion. He was very involved with the Kill-ington-Pico Rotary Club, serving a term as President.

For several years he was Chairman of the Club's Inbound Student Youth Exchange Program for his District, which included Southern Vermont and New Hampshire. He and his wife hosted ten exchange students over the years and relished visiting those students in their home countries. Goldstein is survived by: his wife of thirty-four years, Barbara; daughter Lois Goldstein, Annapolis, MD; son Karl Goldstein, Voorhees, NJ; stepson Nicholas Schlegel, Fruitland, MD; five grandchildren Lauren Tan-man, Alex Tanman, Jared Goldstein, Ryan Schlegel, Nicole Schlegel; and two sisters Randi G. Ferguson (James), Estero, FL and Nancy C. Domic (Alain), Nice, France.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Clifford Funeral Home, Rutland, Vermont. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Killington-Pico Rotary Club, P.O. Box 146, Killington, Vermont 05751 McCarthy, Robert G. Esq.

Ratterman, Robert Anthony Irondequoit: August 30, 2013, at age 84. Predeceased by his son-in-law, David Serenati; beloved husband of 59 years, Josephine; loving father of Judy (Alan) Dickinson, Lisa Spinelli and Suzanna (Roy) Youngs; grandfather of Aaron, Jeff, Ryan and Emma. Sam was a member of the Annunciation Senior Group and an Army Veteran of The Korean Conflict. Rochester: At age 64 died in his sleep Thursday August 29, 2013. The son of Grace Porvenzalle Ratterman and Herman Ratterman and is survived by his loving sister Janet Gebhardt of North Carolina and his son Dennis Christopher Ratterman of NY.

He was a navy veteran and ZtTw Carthy. He is predeceased by infant brother and sister, Patrick and Meghan McCarthy. He is also survived by his in-laws, Fran and Monica Murphy; sisters-in-law, Maureen and Molly Murphy; four nephews and one niece. Robert was born August 28, 1 973 in Rochester, NY. Robert received a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York College at Oswego, a Master of Arts from the University of Rochester, and a Juris Doctorate from St.

John's University School of Law. Focusing on labor and employee benefits, Robert was employed by Chamberlain D'Amanda in Rochester, NY. Robert served on several professional associations and received Up and Coming Attorney of 2013. Robert used his mediation skills to develop a large network of family and friends, in spite of his avid love of the Dallas Cowboys and Notre Dame. His zealous passion for football mirrored his character: unflinchingly loyal and eternally optimistic.

Robert's cause of death was COPD (emphysema) unrelated to his Brain Injury. Robert's Funeral Mass will be at St. Boniface Catholic Church 330 Gregory Street Rochester NY (near South Avenue) TUESDAY at 9:30 AM with burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in the Veterans Section.
