Louisville police arrested Sylvester L. Coleman on Wednesday and charged him in connection with the May 15 holdup at Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers, 4041 Taylors-ville Road. Coleman, 33, of the 9700 block of Fairground Road, was arrested at 11:05 p.m. at police headquarters. An employee reported that a man with a gun robbed the business of an undetermined amount of money.

Robert E. Garlinger was arrested Wednesday and charged in connection with a May 22 burglary at Joe Ley Antiques 632 E. Market St. Garlinger, 28, of the 3000 block of Parkway Avenue, was arrested at noon at Clay and Market streets. A spokesman reported that a grandfather clock valued at $1,500 was taken from the business.

A 22-year-old woman told Louisville police she was raped and robbed of $113 by a man who forced open a window in her apartment just west of downtown Louisville about 4 a.m. Wednesday. Police said the woman was treated at University Hospital and released. In other crime news: 900 block of Washburn Avenue. Mary Baxter said yesterday that $90 and Items valued at $571, including Dentist put on probation Louisville police arrested a 33-year-old man on Monday in connection with a break-in at the apartment of Shirley VanMeter of the 1700 block of Liberty Bell Way.

Thomas E. Sells of the 500 block of East Southern Heights Avenue was arrested at 6:10 a.m. in the 1700 block of Liberty Bell Way and charged with burglary. Police said a television set reported taken from the apartment was recovered. A 21-year-old woman told Louisville police that she was beaten and raped by a man who forced open the back door of her western Louis the $8,826 to the Medicaid program.

Lawrence was indicted on 43 counts of filing fraudulent claims and one count of devising a scheme to defraud the Medicaid program between March 1979 and July 1981. He pleaded guilty to two charges as a result of plea negotiations. The dentist billed Medicaid for devices called transitional appliances, which are designed to straighten teeth. Medicaid is a federal-state program that helps pay for health care for the needy, aged, blind and disabled, and for low-income families with children. A Louisville dentist was put on five years' probation yesterday for bilking Medicaid out of $8,826.

Robert Lawrence, 49, of the 8600 block of Lakeridge Drive, pleaded guilty last month to two counts of filing fraudulent Medicaid claims for dental services he never provided. It was the first conviction won by the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit of the state attorney general's office. Jefferson Circuit Judge Benjamin Shobe put Lawrence on probation yesterday in lieu of a two-year prison term and $10,000 in fines.
